This time around for the US Presidential election people like Samuel L. Jackson have a tougher time defending who they are voting for.
Recall in 2012 in a Huffington article where Jackson said the following:
I voted for Barack because he was black. Cause that’s why other folks vote for other people — because they look like them.
Uh-oh, Jackson is in trouble this time around. This upcoming election the serious candidates for the democratic party are Joe Biden (white), Hillary Clinton (white), Lincoln Chafee (white), Martin O’Malley (white), Bernie Sanders (white), and Jim Webb (white).
In fact the only serious candidate who is black is Ben Carson. But there’s a problem here for Jackson, you see Carson is a dreaded Republican.
But that shouldn’t matter to Jackson, you see he went on to say this about American politics:
That’s American politics, pure and simple. [Obama’s] message didn’t mean [anything] to me. In the end, he’s a politician. I just hoped he would do some of what he said he was gonna do. I know politicians … lie cause they want to get elected.
So really, the only question is when is Jackson going to endorse Carson. After all, Carson is black, and looks more like Jackson than Sanders or Clinton, or is Jackson a hypocrite like all liberals.
