On Wednesday Kathleen Sebelius spoke out about Obamacare and what she said was it’s brand name.
“Obamacare, no question, has a very bad brand that has been driven intentionally by a lot of misinformation and a lot of paid advertising,” said Sebelius.
There has been a lot of misinformation and paid advertising going on for Obamacare. She is correct there, but who has been doing this is another question.
Anyone recall ‘you can keep your plan’, or ‘you can keep your doctor’.
Let’s not forget the millions the government has spent on ‘promoting’ Obamacare.
There are still millions without coverage, and healthcare prices have yet to start falling. In fact this year Obama even suggested that people cut household expenses, like cell phones, so they can afford healthcare.
This wasn’t the result we were promised by our elected officials.
Sorry Kathleen Sebelius, renaming Obamacare won’t magically make it better. The problem is the poorly crafted 2,000+ page bill that the democrats rushed through Congress.
As Mythbusters once proved, you can polish a turd, but its still a turd. You can rename the bill, but it won’t change what’s inside.
