Left-Wingers

The left constantly says they are liberals.  They fight for freedoms and such.  But they are not.

The reality is Political Correctness and Multiculturism, two staples of the left, are not liberal at all.  They restrict freedom of speech and the flow of debate and ideas.

Multiculturism according to the left is all about understanding other cultures.  The problem here is it doesn’t bring groups together.  It instead has shown to keep groups more and more divided.  They don’t come together and become share ideas and in a way become one.

That would be a Melting Pot which the left has long since decided is bad.  After all, how dare one culture be absorbed into another.  Nope its far better to have a bunch of different cultures.  What better to divide and conquer with?

And what about the other favorite of the left, good old PC.

Its even worse.  Its the most harmful of all intolerances due to the fact its wrapped up to appear as tolerance.

Let’s face it, PC is about controlling what people say, think and do according to a strict codes and rigid rules for all to live by.  Its also this physiology which has made way for the rise of triggering by special snowflakes.

But come back to the word liberals.  These left-wingers say they are liberal?  What is a liberal?

According to a definition a liberal is “open to new behavior or opinions”.

Multiculturism and PC are anything but liberal.  In fact, they appear to not be open to new behaviors or opinions.

To this, as of today, I will stop using liberal as a term to describe left-wingers.  I’ll look for other, more fitting terms, but for now I’ll go with left-wingers.  Because they are not liberals.

2017

Well, its the beginning of a new year, and in a few weeks the beginning of a new administration.  One upon which almost no one foresaw.

Now eight years ago a man named Barrack Obama had won the election and would become the new President.  Everyone on the left was full of hope (and change).

Personally I was hopeful, but cautious about his agenda.  I didn’t feel his agenda was right for how the USA was headed, and what was going on.  I don’t know if my opinions were right or wrong as it generally takes a decade or more to even begin to understand what happened under a Presidency.

Today we have Donald Trump about to take the oath and liberals all over at still whining about the election.  They are still calling Trump supporters racist, and deplorable, and more.  They have attacked Trump and he hasn’t even taken the oath yet.

I have no problem with people actually criticizing Trump, they have that right.  But what I see in the beginning of the year isn’t criticism, its personal attacks.  Calling someone racist for supporting Trump doesn’t heal the country.  Calling someone sexist for supporting Trump doesn’t heal the country.

If 2017 is to be the year we heal, the left is doing everything they can to make sure the healing doesn’t occur.

Merry Christmas

In a non-PC way I’m going to wish you a Merry Christmas.

And the Christmas story, from Luke 2:1-20New International Version (NIV):

The Birth of Jesus

In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while[a] Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to their own town to register.

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

Trump Is President

Despite the fiasco of the past couple of weeks since the election win by Trump, the elector college has cast heir votes.

The winner: Donald Trump.

I would say now is the time for liberals to grow up, move on, and possibly work with Trump.  But I fear all we’ll get is more of the same whining by the left.

Sure, they’ll claim the conservatives did it, but I somehow doubt that a liberal will be called racist for simply disagreeing with something Trump wants to do.

They state conservatives called Obama Hitler, yet liberals did it to Bush, and have already done it to Trump.  Like racism its a catch all insult which now means almost nothing.

I’ll wait and see what type of President Trump will be, much like I waited to see how Obama was going to be.  However it really feels like all people want to do in today’s society is fearmonger and preach that the worst is here.

The one thing I don’t expect is to have Trump win a Noble Peace Prize for doing nothing.

Answering a Question

It appears a few nights ago on Carlson Tucker, Kurt Eichenwald was on the show.  One of the questions on the show was about Eichenwald stating Trump was “institutionalized in a mental hospital for a nervous breakdown in 1990”.

A simple question considering Carlson asked Eichenwald if this was true or not.  If Trump was this should have been a very easy question to answer.  Instead Eichenwald almost became unhinged in his replies.

It became an embarrassing round about as Eichenwald brushed aside the question and instead tried to attack the host of the show. Continue reading…

Fake News

Lately there has been a lot of talk about fake news and somehow controlling it, especially by the liberals.  I guess they are still reeling from the election loss and blaming it on the fake news.

But there is a problem with coming down on fake new.  Who determines what is, or is not, fake?

I get the feeling that liberals don’t really care about fake news, but controlling the news people hear.  Or more specifically, making sure people hear only the liberal agenda without anyone questioning it. Continue reading…

Climate Change

So, we just had a major winter storm and of course.  What does all the conversation turn to.

How much snow?  Nope.

How cold it is?  Nope.

Climate Change?  Yep.

Now, I’m not going to say the climate will always remain the same, that’s for idiots.  I’m not even going to go into the debate on it.

I simple have one observation to hand out.

Why is it whenever we have a strong winter storm blow though the US the topic of conversation turns to Climate Change?

Currently my priorities for CC is actually quite low at the moment.  I want to know how cold it will be.  Will it get below freezing where I am?  Do I need to take some extra precautions and such?

What I don’t want at that time is a crap load of articles about CC that I won’t read because I’m busy looking for other information.

Come on weather folks.

75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor

75 years ago today the US was suddenly attacked by the nation of Japan at Pearl Harbor.

People woke up to a normal lazy Sunday all across the US never imagining that by the end of the day the US would be at war with Japan and engaged in World War 2.

At Pearl Harbor, just before 8 AM, the first wave of Japanese carrier based planes swooped in and attacked the ships of the US navy.  By the time the last plane left about two hour later the damage had been done.  The USS Arizona had been broken in two and sunk, along with the USS Oklahoma, neither ship would ever rejoin the fleet.

The USS Arizona would become a permanent memorial for those who were killed in the attack.

The other seven battleships would all take damage along with some ten other warships and hundreds of planes.

Pearl Harbor was left a smoking ruin.  In the years since conspiracies have come up and down.  Was it a rouse to get the US into the war, we might never know.  Of course its also just as likely that none of these conspiracies are true.

So today, recall what happened 75 years ago.

Religion

With Christmas coming up I thought I delve into religion a bit.

Why is it offensive for people in the USA to wish people a Merry Christmas?

I’ve heard from others that it is somehow disrespectful to others.  That I am forcing my religion upon others.

That’s an interesting statement considering what we Christians are saying to you.  We are wishing you happiness, peace and love.  How are we ‘forcing our religion upon you?

I was unaware that saying Marry Christmas translated to you must believe in Jesus Christ and go to church with me.  I am not forcing you to go and be baptized and donate 10% to a church when I say Merry Christmas.

I am merely wishing you the greeting of a season.

To those who get pissed upon hearing those words, do you get upset upon seeing a hijab?  It is usually something done by a religion, in this case islam.  So liberals can see this and think its all right, but wishing someone Merry Christmas is offensive.

Some days I just don’t understand liberals and their logic.

Flag Burning

There has been a lot of news lately about flag burning, including if the government should make it illegal to do so.

Personally, it is a freedom of speech, but one which those who do it fail to understand that doing so opens you up to rebuttal and criticism.  Burning the flag doesn’t make you immune to someone else using their freedom of speech to criticize your actions.

However, moving on, there is a push by some on the right to make it illegal to burn the flag.  Of course liberals are upset over this. Continue reading…

Ohio State University Attack

Once again there was another college attack  And once again liberals are spouting off on what needs to be done about it to prevent another attack.

Their solution is more gun control, or abolish gun s altogether.  Its their bread and butter solution any time such an attack occurs.

However, there is one slight problem with this attack.  You see, the attacker didn’t use a gun at all.  He drove a vehicle and used a machete to attack his victims.

Oops.  Well, probably won’t see liberal back track on this, nope.  Instead they’ll go quiet about it.

Of course, what you won’t hear either is how students with military training acted upon hearing of the lock down.  They did what they were trained.

In many classes stories come out about how these students put themselves between the door and any attacker and the civilian students who were told to stay back.

And yet such outstanding people are constantly degraded by the left and when something happens they have no problem standing up even for those who degrade them.

This attack has many lessons, many of which will not be learned.  You don’t need a gun to attack people.  And many of those who are trained to defend this country will, even in a classroom.  Its time to start working together again instead of tearing it apart.
