Debate Proposal

Well the first debate has come and gone.  What was learned.

Nothing much really.  The press is actively pressing that Hillary won despite heavy help from the moderator.  In fact, most of the discussion outside of the media has been on Holt and the terrible job he did.

Now I have a proposal for the debate.

The moderator steps out, announces the debate.  The two candidates step out to behind their podiums (which have their microphones turned off).  Moderator tells audience how things are going to happen.

He (or she) will reach into the container, perhaps a fishbowl, in front of them and pull out the question (which will be less than 100 words long).  The question will then be read to the candidates.

Upon finishing, candidate A will have 3-6 minutes to answer the question.  A digital counter will countdown the time.  The candidate’s microphone will then be turned on, the candidate will answer the question.  When time is over the microphone will turn off regardless if the candidate is still talking or has even answered the question.

Candidate B will then be given the same amount of time to either answer or rebuke.

After the time is over, moderator will reach in, pull out another question, and will alternate which candidate answers first.  The only thing the moderator does is ask the questions, nothing else.

Candidates will know how much time they have, a countdown timer will be facing them, along with everyone else in audience and on TV.  The candidates microphone is only on when they are answering a question in the time given.

I don’t see it happening though, this wouldn’t allow the media to give an advantage to one side.

How are you fairing.

Terror Attacks

Bombing and stabbings, oh my!

Seems like the world went a little crazy over the weekend.  It all started with a bombing before a Marine Corps run in New Jersey.  Then another bombing in New York.

Add in a multiple stabbing in Minnesota where the stabber was reported to be asking if people were muslim.

Of course the left quickly runs off and goes we can’t blame muslims at all.  They even go so far as to say we can’t use terrorist and bombing because it might offend muslims.

CNN was caught editing out Hillary Clinton using the phrase bombing (in which she later contradicted herself) while attacking Trump for using the word bombing.

It brings up a question.  Why can’t the left use such words?  What are they so afraid of?

Its time to start calling things what they are and stop being afraid.  This is exactly what the terrorist want us to be, afraid of them.  As long as the left is afraid of them the terrorist win.

How did you do?

Hillary’s Health

Well, a lot happened over the weekend, 9/11 remembrances and such.  But the big news happened to come from Hillary Clinton, not what she said, rather what she did.

She left early from the 9/11 events and was filmed waiting for her van, leaning heavily while standing and being supported by an aide.  Then while attempting to walk to the van pretty much completely collapsed and had to be dragged into the van.

This comes after weeks, or months, of speculation of her health.

How does the Hillary camp respond?

They isolate the media at first, according to tweets from the day, then say she was simply overcome by the heat.

However, when that excuse stumbled it changed once more, this time it was revealed she had pneumonia.

Its obvious she’s not healthy and needs to rest to recover.  What is becoming increasingly confusing is what exactly is wrong with Hillary.

Everyone has their theories and the truth might not be known due to how much misinformation is out there.  What is true, she’s not we

Remember

15 years ago Americans were changed.

We woke up that morning to a normal, typical Tuesday in September.  We went about our daily lives in blissful ignorance, our concerns were on getting to work, paying bills, studying, going to class, or a hundred other things which had little to do with what was about to happen.

Without warning our news shows were interrupted, co-workers rushed into to interrupt, or teachers were interrupted while teaching class.  Something big had just happened.

A plane had struck the World Trade Center. Continue reading…
