Conventions
Well, both the Democrat and Republican conventions are now over and we’ve learned a few things.
At the republican convention, we learned that Melania Trump is a plagiarist, and that the GOP party is a bunch of meanies who attacked Hillary for no good reason.
At the democrat convention we learned that its not as united as the party says they are, and that Trump is a big meanie so you better vote for Hillary.
Oh, and Trump and Hillary officially became the candidate of each party.
Go Trump
Well, after considering everyone, I’m tossing in my support for Trump. Let’s face it, the democrat party has become far to left-wing/socialist/corrupt to even consider supporting.
Democrats in Censor Mode
The recent problems before the Democratic National Convention has spurned problems for social media as well.
It started off with Wikileaks releasing a lot of the e-mails of the democratic party. Many of these e-mails showed that there was a coordinated effort by high ranking democrats, and some with the media outlets, to go after and take down Sanders.
There was also an effort that these attacks were to be looked upon as being done by the Trump campaign.
As a result the democrats have looked at their friends in the media once more to help spin things.
First it was Twitter, which has blocked #DNCLeaks and #DNCLeak. Then it was FaceBook which now considers WikiLeaks to be an unsafe sight.
Add in the fact that you have DBC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who was going to speak at the convention, has resigned (but has been hired by Clinton’s campaign).
Thought censoring was done by those who are not tolerant, who respect what others have to say. But it appears that with the democrats, and their allies, its only tolerance and free speech when it agrees with what they have to say.
GOP Convention
So, reading media, social media, twitter and such the GOP Convention came.
What was the big story? Trump winning the nomination?
Nope, it was actually a speech given by Melania Trump. It appears that she took some 50 or so words from a speech that Michelle Obama gave 8 years ago.
The amount of attention this has received is almost overwhelming by the liberal media. People would think she did the entire speech, all 17 minutes of it. Or that she said something really bad.
No, the media latched onto this for one reason, and one reason only. They could attack Trump with this.
The biggest problem is this really is an irrelevant item. Melania Trump is not running for office. Add in the fact other politicians have done this as well and it really becomes a non-issue.
Oh, yeah, in other news at the convention Trump won the nomination for Republican Presidential Candidate.
Go Trump!
Trump Names VP
Republican candidate Donald Trump has come out and named Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his VP selection.
He ran unsuccessfully for Congress one, was a lawyer, also has a degree in history. Was elected to the House and in 2012 was elected as governor of Indiana.
Pence is considered a conservative with ties to the TEA party, a sure bet that democrats will attack that (after all, the TEA party is dangerous despite evidence to the contrary).
Pence is a way for Trump to reach out to the conservative base of the GOP and overall is a solid pick.
Go Trump!
Attack in France
Last night a terrible attack occurred in Nice, France.
Reports are that an immigrant from Somalia drove a truck though a large group of people celebrating in Nice. The driver than got out and started shooting people and there are some reports he yelled ‘Allahu Akbar’.
Other reports stated that the truck had weapons and grenades inside.
Another tragedy in France, and once more there are connections which the left will want to ignore as much as possible.
The facts that he might have been an immigrant, and muslim still will do nothing to wake the left out of its slumber of the dangers presented by such people. In fact, its reported that Hillary Clinton wants to bring in several thousand, maybe even half a million immigrants. Continue reading…
