Donald Trump once said he could shoot someone and people would still vote for him. That may be, but Hillary Clinton could shoot someone and the media would make her into a hero for doing it.
Socialism
The youth of today don’t know what Socialism is. They hear about how great it is, and that’s the lure. It sounds great. Equality for all.
However the truth is much harder, stark and depressing.
A professor I back about 1990 or so, was from Poland. He told us a story of the first time his mom was finally able to see him in the US.
He went, picked her up, emotional, after all he hadn’t seen her in years. On the way back from the airport he realized he needed some beer, and stopped at a gas station to pick some up. His mother came in and stood there, amazed. She had never seen so much food in one place before in her life.
This wasn’t even a Safeway, HEB, or large grocery store like that.
That is the difference between socialism and capitalism which the youth do not understand. They think it can’t happen to a modern country.
Look at Venezuela. A beautiful country ruined by true Socialism.

Defending Ones Self
Imagine you’re a woman, and you’re assaulted. You’ve been told to do anything possible to get away, but you have pepper spray. Using that you manage to escape your attacker.
Now, after being put through the experience, you learn that not only is your attacker not going to be charged, but you are charged with possession of a illegal weapon and face a fine.
What?
This is exactly what happened in Denmark to a young 17 year-old woman. The attacker is unknown, but with increasing reports of such assaults on women the fact that the victim is facing charges is not going over well within the country. Continue reading…
Super Bowl Results
For those watching, once again on Sunday there was the Super Bowl, and people are talking about it.
First off, it appears Lady Gaga nailed the national anthem. It was refreshing to hear a singer give the song the justice it deserved without being overbearing. It was nice, and overall it improved her image to me. I do like a few of her songs, and was glad to see she didn’t try anything strange. In fact, I didn’t even recognize it was Lady Gaga at first when watching it.
Second, the Doritos commercial. Watched this one live and the only thing I got out of it was a chuckle. However it appears some people freaked out over the commercial. More specifically people who don’t want to acknowledge that a fetus is in fact, a baby. The abortion groups went crazy over this as their narrow-minds exploded, unable to see the humor. Super Bowl Prediction
Well, its championship time for the NFL, the Superbowl.
My Texans didn’t make it this year (surprise, surprise), but the two teams which did, the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos were two of the top teams this year. An explosive offence to go against a dominating defense.
There are back stories going on this year, from Manning’s drug accusations to Cam’s dancing and everything in between, including race (which doesn’t belong in this discussion).
My prediction, I’m going with the Panthers this year. Cam has seemed unstoppable, and if he plays as he has all year, the Broncos defense has its hands full. On the flip side, the Broncos offense has seemed anemic all year and the Panthers defense isn’t an easy one either.
Overall, the Panthers seemed to be the more complete team. Sure all the eyes will be on Manning, his last dance to the big time. Going out on top, and all of that.
I have to give the edge to the Panthers, especially if they come out flying.

Sadly, this is all too accurate. Every told a joke which 20 years ago would have been considered ‘clean’, but are afraid to tell it today because some group might consider it offensive? Thank the PC crowd for that.
Of course others have also said PC is destroying comedy as well, like John Cleese who is joining a growing group of comedians saying this.

What happens in Germany when a grandfather asks a mayor about muslim ‘refugees’ that the government has taken in about safety concerns he has for his 10-year-old daughter?
