State Dept. Responds to Obama’s Security Meetings

After Obama once again opened his mouth and created another bad press for himself the White House and State Department have gone into damage control.  What happened?

Obama, under public pressure over ISIS, threw the intelligence community under the bus by blaming them. The President stated the intelligence underestimated the threat of ISIS.  Staffers have come out stating that they have indeed warned the President of the threat. Continue reading…

Obama and Security Brifings

By now we’ve all heard from the President on how he was caught off guard by the rapid rise of the radical muslim group, ISIS.  He even went on to say on Sunday 60 Minutes about the situation:

“I think our head of the intelligence community, Jim Clapper, has acknowledged that I think they underestimated what had been taking place in Syria.”

According to many officials within the intelligence agency this has come as a tremendous shock to them.  “It’s pretty well-known that the president hasn’t taken in-person intelligence briefings with any regularity since the early days of 2009,” an Obama national security staffer told the Daily Mail on Monday. “He gets them in writing.” Continue reading…

Obamacare’s Narrow Networks A Disaster

The purpose of Obamacare was to insure everyone had medical insurance, or so we were told.  However, the reality has become anything but.  Healthcare insurance companies offering the narrow networks under Obamacare in California are reporting that there will be no increase next year.  In fact, some might even have their networks shrink.

This is according to a recent LA Times article.

Narrow networks were put forth by Obamacare as a way to reduce insurance costs.  However, as people with such plans start using the plan they are running into problems.  They learn that the doctor they had used is not part of the network, or have trouble finding the nearest doctor. Michelle Obama on School Lunches

Michelle Obama has been on a quest of power against ‘unhealthy’ school lunches.  As a result, instead of millions of kids all over the country are now subjected to what they consider healthy, but uneatable.

Children have even photographed the lunches to show what they are being served.  People have expressed their outrage, yet it seems like very little is being done to amend the problem.

Recently even Michelle Obama came out on Friday (Sept. 26, 2014) in an interview with ‘Channel One’ on the lunches.  Its strange that the very quest she is on, she says “I wouldn’t want to eat a nasty lunch either.”

Of course Michelle does not have to worry about that, being the President’s wife, she has her own cooks to cook her meals.

She also says “change is hard.”  Its only hard if you are the one who is being forced to eat these meals.

Yes, for many this meal could be the only nutritious meal they have.  But, if you don’t make the food attractive, and something kids want to eat, it won’t matter.  Kids are tossing away a lot of food thanks to Michelle’s program, which she has no power to force schools to adhere to such rules.

In one final insult, she says that they should help in making the meals better.

I have a suggestion, why don’t the very people who are making the meal, be forced to eat it first for a month.  Perhaps they’ll start making meals that kids want to eat.

Eric Holder Stepping Down

The Attorney General of the United States has stated that he is going to retire.  To many, all they can say, it’s about time.

Holder has had a rocky time as Attorney General, starting early on in Obama’s first year as President.  The dropping of charges against a Black Panthers’ group was viewed as reverse racism by many.  Holder’s next couple of years did not improve. Continue reading…

Obama Speaks to the UN

In case you missed it, or decided to ignore it, President Obama went before the United Nations and delivered, what most thought, was a speech on terror groups like ISIS.  A way to unit the many groups against such radical Islamic groups which threaten to destabilize our modern world.

However, even his own words are at odds with what he was trying to say.  He went though telling the members about how the USA will not be at war with a religion. Continue reading…

The Latte Salute

With all of the problems President Obama is facing with low poll numbers, the last thing he should do is be filmed being disrespectful to the troops.

But, that’s exactly  what has happened when his own staff posted a video of him existing Marine One and saluted two military personal.  The President was holding a cup in his right hand, and it seemed like nothing in his left hand.  What did he do?  Gave a half-hearted salute with his right hand, while still holding the cup. Wear Gold in September

Thanks to the good work of Aaron Rodgers, and the Blaze, I became aware of this important topic once more.  Every October while watching the NFL players around the league don funny looking pink shoes, towels, socks, etc in support of raising awareness and money to fight breast cancer.

Now, thanks to an 11 year-old girl named Annie, a forgotten group is gaining recognition in their fight against cancer.  Annie lost her twin brother to pediatric cancer in 2012.  Seeing the pink worn in October gave her an idea to help spread awareness of children with cancer by wearing gold.

All too often when thinking of cancer, we think of older people who have lived, had children, been married, experienced the joys and pains of growing up with a ‘normal’ childhood.  We forget that children can be stricken with cancer.  Their lives, parents, grandparents, siblings and friends are all affected.

These children do not have the normal lives we had, yet, in their pain, hardships, and struggle to survive, all too often they are forgotten by society.

Help raise the awareness and spread the word, wear gold in September.  Visit Gold in September, join the cause.

Lois Lerner is the Victim?

Lois Lerner, the official whose claim to fame is wrapped up within the IRS scandal.  The same person who went before a board of Congress members, ranted and raved at them, then turned and pled the 5th.  The same one whose e-mails mysteriously disappeared due to her laptops hard drive failing is now claiming something new.

Lois Lerner is ‘breaking’ her silence, at least according to a Political article, titled, ‘Exclusive: Lois Lerner breaks silence’ by Rachael Bade, in which the article tries to point out that instead of being a criminal, she is indeed the victim. Continue reading…

Obama to Skip Wounded Veterans Memorial

On October 5, 2014, a Sunday a new memorial honoring US veterans who have been wounded in wars fought is to be dedicated in Washington DC.  The memorial, called the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial, is the first of its kind to honor those disabled in wars soldiers have fought in an effort to bring attention to wounded soldiers.

Presidents have usually been present during such ceremonies.  however the organizers have been told that Obama will not be making an appearance to the event. Continue reading…

Detention for Sharing

By now, we all know how poor our education system is when it comes to discipline.  It seems like kids cannot do anything in todays world, especially a good deed without being punished for it.

For example take Kyle Bradford, a 13 year old at Weaverville Elementary School in Weaverville, California.  He went thought the lunch line and bought lunch, a burrito, which he really did not want.  Sitting down next to a friend, who also had a lunch he did not want, he gave his friend the burrito and that’s when the school went stupid. Ezekiel Emanuel Misses Meaning of Life

Ezekiel Emanuel, one of the architects of the messed up Obamacare fiasco hurting democrats came out with an article recently.  Its titled, ‘Why I Hope to Die at 75’, and shows how much a person like him knows about science, but how little he knows about living.

He states that living too long is a ‘loss’.  He goes on to say that as we age, people have different experiences, and “We are no longer remembered as vibrant and engaged but as feeble, ineffectual, even pathetic.”

His article then goes on to many ‘scientific’ reasons why we should die at 75, and not live longer.  But, like many people like him, he misses the point of life.  Its to live.  There is no reason why a person cannot be creative in their 80s like they were in their 20s.  Continue reading…
