Pelosi Undermines US Strategy on ISIS and Troops

House democrat Nancy Pelosi is showing us once more how the left think about radical muslim groups like ISIS.  Earlier this week Pelosi made the following comment about sending ground troops in against ISIS.

“The worse it gets the less reason I think we should send troops.”

Now, the humorous, and political knee jerk reaction the left would take with such a comment is Pelosi is all right with sending in troops if the conditions were better.  And while that may seem ridiculous, it seems to sum up the left’s attitude in combating ISIS.  It is in conflict with chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey who stated troops might be needed.  In response Pelosi said this. Obama’s Poll Numbers and the News Outlets

Obama’s poll numbers have continued to get worse, mostly thanks to his own actions.  From the handling of the implementation of Obamacare to the recent ISIS ‘no strategy’ debacle, people’s general perception of how this President is doing is declining.

Bill Maher Gets It Right About Islam

Normally I don’t pay much attention to what Bill Maher has to say.  But anyone can be right at least once.  He does this actually quite well in an interview where he talks about differences between Christianity and Islam.

Sadly, I think his points will again fall on deaf ears among the liberal groups.  It is truly amazing that the self proclaimed ‘intellectual side that the left claims to be, can be so blind to the facts of the religion of Islam.

Jeanine Pirro’s Criticism of Obama

Jeanine Pirro, a former judge, and Fox News correspondent, on Saturday delivered an epic criticism of President Obama and his recent speeches on ISIL, or ISIS.

“After weeks of dithering on ISIS, no strategy, containing them, degrading them, and destroying them, finally, we are clear-eyed. A definitive counter-terrorism campaign against the Islamic state, but not against Islam and not against a state, so who are we fighting?” she said about Obama.

Chick-fil-A Banned from School Event

Well, the liberal side is once again showing their inability to understand the word diversity.  One definition is, “the condition of having or including people from different ethnicities and social backgrounds”.  It is not excluding different groups.

A school in California has not learned this lesson.  In a booster event the principal has banned the restaurant chain Chick-fil-A from participating in the event. Continue reading…

Remembering 9/11

It was thirteen years ago that radical muslims attacked the world trade center and the pentagon killing almost three thousand.  Those of us who were old enough to remember, can still recall the events of not only that morning, but that day.

I can recall the mass confusion of the day, despite the fact the internet was around.  It seemed like there were attacks all over the country instead of just three areas.  I can recall hearing fighters flying overhead, even as school and workplaces were closed down for the day.

Never forget that it was the second time these groups had tried to attack the WTC as well.  We must remember these groups will use any means and say anything to get their mission accomplished.

White House Chimes in on Ray Rice

As predicted the White House yesterday already chimed in with a statement about the Ray Rice news after the video was released Monday.  Rice was cut the Ravens then suspended by the NFL

The White House took no time to get involved with the situation with the following statement:

“The president is the father of two daughters. And like any American, he believes that domestic violence is contemptible and unacceptable in a civilized society,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said in a statement.  Hitting a woman is not something a real man does, and that’s true whether or not an act of violence happens in the public eye, or, far too often, behind closed doors.  Stopping domestic violence is something that’s bigger than football — and all of us have a responsibility to put a stop to it.”

I will agree with the statement, there is no place in today’s society for such actions.  It is unacceptable.

Ray Rice Suspended

Yesterday a video came out of Ray Rice punching his then fiancée,  He hit her so hard that he apparently knocked her out.  After the video he was cut by the Baltimore Ravens and then suspended indefinitely by the NFL.

While these points are fine, and it does appear that he is guilty of violence against his fiancée, we should take a step back and look at what we say and do.  With the suspension two questions come to mind, is it enough and what is being done for the future? Continue reading…

Obama’s Immigration Plan

So, after several months of the growing crisis along the border the President has finally made a decision.  He will delay any action until the end of the year.  To many this seems almost outrageous that he will take so much time before implementing an executive order.
