Hamas’ Favorite Tactics to Gain Gullible Liberal Support

The latest tweets by the UN indicate that hamas is using schools funding by the UN to hide weapons in.  Yes, that’s right, the group that is the most responsible for the war going is using schools as places to hide.  The result being that if Israel attacks, hamas can use their PR groups to tell the West all about the killing of children.  Liberals will be emotionally attached and blame Israel for the attacks which is exactly what hamas wants.

But aside from schools, where else do they hide? Continue reading…

Tony Dungy and Michael Sam

A few days ago someone asked former coach Tony Dungy if he would draft Michael Sam.  Sam is the college football athlete who has publically come out and said he’s gay.  Dungy’s remark has ignited a controversy, and proved his point about Sam.

“I wouldn’t have taken him. Not because I don’t believe Michael Sam should have a chance to play, but I wouldn’t want to deal with all of it. It’s not going to be totally smooth … things will happen.” Dungy said.

It appears harsh, but it is not. Continue reading…

ISIS Shuts Off Water Supply

ISIS is striking another jihad blow against Christians in a most inhuman way.  Recently ISIS went after Christians by telling them either to leave, pay up, convert or die.  Yeah, nice choices by a group of muslims that the rest of the world is suppose to believe is peaceful.

Their latest blow, turning off water to Christians.  Where is the outrage by liberals? Continue reading…

Religious War

With everything going on in the world, there is one thing the press, democrats and liberals are ignoring, or hope goes away.  The religious war by radical muslims across the Middle East.  There are two spots showing this war in stunning brilliance, yet is ignored.

The first area, is the easiest to show, yet liberals close their eyes and shout excuses, Israel and hamas.  Hamas in its charter states it wishes to kill all Jews, not just in Israel, but everywhere.  They do not care how their mission is accomplished, as long as they can accomplish it.  They will lie, cheat, use children as shields, while telling anyone else listening how everything is Israel’s fault. Politico Poll Numbers

News from a new Politico poll which was done over the course of two weeks, from July 1 – 13th, 2014.  The results are in and you can read it here.

Politico polled a list of voters, and a good mix of democrats, republicans and independents.

The news is a bit depressing if one is a political leader of the country.  People are slightly more pessimistic (52-48%), and a large number, 45%, are still worried about the economy in general.  The next group US citizens are worried about is healthcare in general at 9%.  A sign that many do not share the optimistic view many democrats seem to be pushing.

For the President, things remain bad, with this disapproving of his job 57-43%, and those strongly disapproving him at 44%, against those strongly approving him only at 15%. Continue reading…

Putin Needs to Blame the Ukraine for Flight 17

Putin in the past couple of days has made several comments that makes anyone wonder what he is trying to do.  As the world knows, Malaysian Airlines flight 17 was shot down and evidence is mounting that pro-Russian forces were behind it.  The day after the crash Putin stated:

“This tragedy would not have happened, if there had been peace on that land, or in any case if military operations in southeastern Ukraine had not been renewed.”

Putin is placing the blame of the fighting on the Ukraine.  Yet which country inflamed the conflict to begin with? Only a couple of months ago Putin was telling the rest of the world part of the Ukraine were Russian because of the high numbers of Russian speaking citizens.

Two months ago Putin sent in Russian troops to conquer the areas of the Ukraine he stated should be part of Russia. Why? The majority spoke Russian and wanted to be part of Russia.  His actions were regarded by many as very Hitler-like in 1938 and the annexation of Czechoslovakia. Continue reading…

Neil Armstrong Walks on the Moon

This day in history is perhaps one of the greatest achievements of humankind.  Less than 70 years of powered flight, three men were sent to the moon.  It started on July 16, 1969 when Apollo 11 successfully launched.  Three days later it settled into lunar orbit and on this day, July 20th, the Lunar Module landed on the moon.  That was followed by Neil Armstrong being the first man to walk on the moon, utter the famous words:

“That’s one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind”

A neat video from YouTube which shows a quick highlight of the mission:

Obama Wasting A Crisis?

With the shooting down of Malaysian Airlines flight 17 it appears President Obama is wasting a golden opportunity to gather allies.  In the flight 298 men, women and children were killed by what seems more and more likely to be by pro-Russian separatists.  Obama even went on TV that first day, but what he said left many, disheartened.

I watched it as many did hoping to hear something about the incident.  Of course this was after the State department began their normal press conference by leading off not with the crash, but Kerry and the Afghanistan elections. Continue reading…

Bill Maher On Who is to Blame in Gaza

Sometimes Bill Maher can make a lot of sense when he is thinking things logically.  Take for example the recent conflict in Gaza between hamas and Israel.  He feels bad for the children and civilians, as many do, who are wounded and killed but he then goes on to ask a serious question many do not wish to ask.

“Whose fault is that mostly?”

Its a very fair, and logical question which has been distorted by many.  Hamas uses the emotional impact of Israel killing women and children to influence many in the West, especially on the left.  But Maher does not seem swayed. Continue reading…

The Tragedy of Flight 17

On Thursday, July 17, a missile shot down Malaysian Flight 17.  Many focus on placing the blame, who did it, and why.  Such questions should and need to be asked and answered, but we cannot forget the secondary, tragic effect of such an action.

On board the flight 298 souls lost their life, snuffed out by the horrible actions of a few.  These people were mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, grandparents and children and grandchildren along with numerous friends of others around the globe.  The sorrow these family members and friends feel is beyond words at having someone taken so suddenly and violently.

But lost in all of this is a second tragedy.  A large number of passengers, up to 100 depending on sources, were part of the international HIV/AIDS community.  People who were working on a range of aspects, from awareness of the disease and how to prevents its spread to people working on finding a cure. Israel’s Defensive Offensive

Gaza, a small area of land under contention for decades, and did not have to be, has led to the rise of terror groups like hamas.  These groups go out, buy weapons with the intention of killing Israel citizens.  They care nothing for any civilian living in Gaza, women or children.  As a result of their narrow-minded focus those living in that small area are poor.

To complicate matters,  these same terrorists use the weapons to launch attacks into Israel.  time and again such attacks occur.  Israel is so concerned about such attacks they have what is called the ‘Iron Dome’ defense to intercept such attacks.

How successful has it been?  Some 1200+ missiles have been launched and only 2 deaths.  A phenomenal success rate for any country.  The problem is hamas continues to launch these rocket attacks.

It comes down to what choice does Israel have? Continue reading…

Busy News Day Yesterday

Two major events happened yesterday.

First off, Malaysian Flight 17, a 777 airliner, was shot down by a missile over Ukraine.  Now things were confusing at first, and some on CNN even said there was no way a missile could have done this.  By the afternoon the US had come out saying it had been a missile attack.

The major culprit is considered to be a buk missile system firing a SA-11 missile.  Both sides have this weapon system, but if it turns out to be a different missile, then intelligence agencies may be able to pinpoint who did it with more accuracy.

This will all depend on how much access investigators get to the crash site. Continue reading…

Malaysian Flight 17

Earlier today a Malaysian airplane, flight 17, a 777, crashed in the Ukraine.

Rumor and speculation swirl over what happened to cause the crash and the deaths of 295 people of multiple nationalities.  It appears that it was shot down by a missile, but by whom it is still muddy.

Around the time of the flight’s crash pro-Russian rebels stated they had shot down a Ukraine military transport.  This has since been retracted after the news of the civilian airliner had crashed.  This could have huge problems with the rebels and Russia if the rebels did shoot it down.  If it turns out to be true then the surface to air missile was more than a hand-held system.  It would bring into question the weapons Russia is given to the rebels. WH Spokesman Dances Around Question

The public has grown accustomed to government avoiding the question.  The politician, or spokesman, will continue to give their talking points as if that is enough.  Both Republicans and democrats will do this and neither is very truthful.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest was caught doing this exact thing when asked by Ed Henry about Democrat Senator Harry Reid’s comments on the border.  Recall, Reid stated the border is secure.  Henry asked Earnest if the White House thinks the border is secure.  His reply?

“The administration under the president’s leadership has dedicated significant resources to securing the border.”
